FAN AGM 2025: A Celebration of Strength, Sisterhood & Sustainable Futures (Female Architects of Nigeria).

If you weren’t at the just-concluded Female Architects of Nigeria (FAN) Annual General Meeting (AGM), you didn’t just miss an event — you missed a movement.

It was colourful, inspiring, energetic, and deeply empowering.
A gathering where leadership met laughter, where brilliance met bonding, and where Nigerian female architects boldly reaffirmed their place in shaping sustainable cities and communities.

From the electrifying opener to the final discussions, FAN AGM 2025 showcased the true spirit of women in design and development — resilient, united, and trailblazing.

The opening day lit up with the signature EGO-Glow experience — a vibrant fusion of fun, fitness, and femininity.

Unlike the typical professional kick-off, FAN chose joy as the opening keynote.

Laughter filled the air.
Sisters connected.
Generations blended seamlessly.

This wasn’t just an icebreaker — it was a statement:

Women deserve spaces that celebrate their energy, wellness, and excellence.

Young architects met mentors.
Veterans rediscovered their spark.
Even non-architects in attendance left inspired.

A powerful reminder to all women — in every profession — to rise, take space, and shine.

Day 1 Sub-Theme: Eco-Glow: Women and Sustainable Futures – Work Hard, Play Harder.

A perfect blend of wellness and purpose — because sustainability starts with self-care.

Day 2 elevated the energy into deep, transformational dialogue as FAN held its official AGM under the insightful Theme: “Women in Architecture: Trailblazing Sustainability in the Nigerian Built Environment.”

The 2025 FAN AGM demonstrated, once again, what the Female Architects of Nigeria represent:

• Resilience – Women who break ceilings, build bridges, and redesign the future.

• Brilliance – Innovators, academics, project drivers, and creatives leading the profession forward.

• Unity – A sisterhood that amplifies voices and nurtures leadership across generations.

From wellness to workshops and deep conversations, the FAN AGM proved a powerful truth:

When women lead, communities grow. When women unite, industries shift. When female Architects speak, the nation listens.

This year’s FAN AGM spoke beyond architecture, it echoed to women across Nigeria — engineers, surveyors, teachers, entrepreneurs, students, creatives: Take up space, Build sustainably — in your life, your career, and your environment.

The future of the built environment is being shaped by women — and FAN is leading the charge.
