The Nigerian Institute of Architects – Abuja Chapter held its much-anticipated 41st Annual General Meeting on August 9th, 2025, and it was nothing short of spectacular.
From the arrival of Arc. Mobolaji Adeniyi FNIA, President of the NIA, accompanied by her full council members — including the Immediate Past President, Arc. Enyi Ben-Eboh FNIA, IPPNIA — to the presence of allied professional bodies and chapter chairmen from across the country, the hall was filled with the very heartbeat of Nigeria’s built environment leadership.
The keynote speaker, Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, delivered far more than a keynote address. His presentation was a powerful blend of motivation, insight, and inspiration — weaving together themes of synergy, collaboration, communication, and information exchange. His words resonated with every single attendee, from students and young professionals to seasoned architects and allied experts.
And yes — The Chronicles of Construction was right there in the thick of it!
Our correspondent Kate O. A was on ground capturing compelling moments from the event and not just that — our Executive Producer, Mobolaji Akinfenwa, was also present, personally taking charge to conduct an exclusive one-on-one interview with the President of the Nigerian Institute of Architects and other reputable Architects and personnel present at the event. These rare, insightful conversations are not to be missed.
